Getting Started
Deploy your infrastructure in 4 steps
Deploy your own private cloud infrastructure in minutes, without any DevOps expertise.
What You Get#
With Siovos Desktop, you deploy a complete infrastructure on your own server:
- Private cloud with Kubernetes
- Secure VPN to access your services from anywhere
- Docker registry to store your applications
- Database ready to use
- SSL certificates for secure connections
All managed through a simple desktop application.
4 Steps to Get Started#
1. Get Your License#
Choose a plan on our pricing page and complete your purchase. You'll receive:
- Your license key by email
- Access to your customer portal at account.siovos.com
2. Download & Install#
Go to our download page and get the app for your system (macOS, Windows, or Linux). Install it like any other application.
First launch: Your system may show a security warning because the app is new. This is normal—just confirm you want to open it.
3. Activate Your License#
Open Siovos Desktop and go to Licenses in the sidebar. Click "New license" and enter your key and email.

4. Add Your Server & Deploy#
Click "Deployment" in the sidebar and follow the wizard:
- Enter your server's IP address and SSH key
- Choose a deployment profile
- Configure your options
- Click Deploy
The deployment takes about 15 to 30 minutes. Once complete, you'll have a fully operational infrastructure!
Requirements#
Before you start, make sure you have:
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| A server | VPS or dedicated server with Debian 13 or Ubuntu 20.04+, minimum 4GB RAM |
| SSH access | An SSH key to connect to your server |
| Internet | For download and activation |
Don't have a server yet? Any VPS provider works (OVH, Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Scaleway...). Just install Debian 13.
After Deployment#
Once your infrastructure is deployed, follow the steps shown on screen:
- Install the certificate — Click the button to install the SSL certificate, required to access your services securely
- Connect to VPN — Use the Siovos VPN manager (in your menu bar) to access your services
- Start building! — Your infrastructure is ready, deploy your applications
You can also install the certificate later from My Infrastructures → select your server → Actions tab → "Install Root CA".
